澳洲最具規模的出版社之一Random House Australia（RHA）日前宣布，自2010年3月起，該出版社旗下的澳洲出版品，將盡可能全面換用有FSC認證之紙品印刷。而該集團英國出版社Random House UK早已取得FSC認證。該出版社澳洲出版總編Nikki Christer說：「我們很高興日後我們將出版FSC認證的書籍。我相信我們的讀者和作者都會很樂見我們的愛書能減少對瀕臨消失森林所造成的影響。」

Random House is now Even Greener
From March 2010 all our books will be printed on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council A.C.
Random House Australia is pleased to announce that as of March 2010 our Australian books will be printed on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council A.C. (FSC). FSC promotes environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forest.
Random House Australia is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and this new venture strengthens the environmental arm of our CSR program. Together with Random House UK (who is already FSC certified) we are constantly striving to minimize the influence we have on the environment.
Nikki Christer, Publishing Director, says ‘We are delighted that our new books will be printed on FSC certified papers. I know our readers, and our authors, will appreciate the fact that our books do not contribute to the destruction of old growth and endangered forests.'
